I was truly mesmerized when I attended the American Passport Experience's event. It was an awe-inspiring behind-the-scenes sneak peek to next year's immersive exhibition honoring Latino stories. The evening commenced the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month with an unforgettable evening of four fascinating Latinas in an open dialogue sharing their stories and experiences. The panel included the host of the evening and visionary behind the exhibition, Alejandra Estefania; Tamara Béliard Rodriguez, Co-owner of Island TV; Shantelle Rodriguez, Superblue's Director of Experiential Art Centers; and Francesca de Quesada, Chief Economic Development and Innovation Officer of Miami-Dade County. These powerhouse women's deeply moving and personal truth-telling conversation shared the complexity of their life experiences with their Latina cultural identity, family, and careers.

A memorable moment of the evening was Alejandra's passionate debut of her emotionally captivating poetry about her immigrant experience and deep connection to her Latino culture and heritage in America. The night would not have been complete without a reception to meet the roundtable panel that featured a complimentary Bacardí cocktail rum experience with entertainment featuring a saxophone player and a DJ. Equally impressive was the event's venue at Superblue Miami for another glimpse of what to expect next year. Attendees found themselves exploring the one-of-a-kind, jaw-dropping mirrored mazes of thousands of lights and breathtaking immersive art. What an unforgettable night! I can’t wait to see these stories and others take a life of their own through the innovation of art and technology. The exhibition in September 2024 promises to be an outstanding and amazing event!
