DOMS PRESERVATIVE POWDER KIT FOR THE DECEASED

DOMS are a compact, lightweight, temporary preservative chemical. It is a palm-sized sachet of powder that works as a portable refrigerator within 30 seconds after open from the package.
DOMS is a stabilized chlorine dioxide agent that eliminates bacteria around deceased body and creating a low bacteria active environment (exactly as what a low temperature environment does) to preserves the body in its natural state from decomposition for up to a five day period (tested and proved).

Advantages of DOMS

DOMS is light, compact and mobile, every set including package weight around 100g, it could be easily transported and transferred between different locations.
It can be used individually on a case-by-case basis so it only costs you when there is a body to be preserved.
It does not require any setup to perform, and it does not require any energy for it to work continuously.
It also eliminate any bacteria from general environment to enter into the deceased body which is the basic agent for decomposition of the body, on the other hand it prevents virus and bacteria from the deceased body to get into the general environment to cause further cross infection, it is a very effective disinfectant.
DOMS needed to be used in a confined environment (coffin or body bags), and it is safe to be burned inside crematorium and does not release any residual chemical that toxic to the environment.

How does DOMS work?

DOMS works in two parts – Part A & Part B.

Part A is a fast effective component that reacts with air from the moment of first contact. Chlorine dioxide gas will be released within 30 seconds. Effectiveness will decrease after 36 hours from reaction and finish around three days.
Part B is by a hygroscopic agent that absorbs moisture from its surrounding environment and slowly transits to DOMS agent for reaction, providing a steady, long-lasting effect for up to *5 days and beyond (*5 days proven with test record).

Operation Plan for a Temporary Mortuaries

With DOMS’ unique feature, it makes the process of setting up mortuary easier than ever. Its compactness and flexibility allow temporary mortuaries to be setup in any size, anywhere, and at any time, when needed. Local halls, school gymnasiums, exhibition centers, local warehouses, or even open space such as carpark with a marquee setup could be used to set up one of these temporary body storage and processing centers according to local needs. The only requirement would be a solid flat ground to setup mortuary racking, if space is a concern.

DOMS could be placed into the body bag, together with the deceased body, at the same time when the deceased is being transfer from the medical center. Once it is placed in the body bag, it will work immediately while the deceased is being transported. The risk of cross inflection for the handling of personnel is significantly reduced as the body is completely isolated from general environments by chlorine dioxide.
